Blog #29 Final Reflection
In this class I learned and grew a lot throughout the two semesters, I learned how to work well in groups and how to work hard to write or create something that I am proud of. I really enjoyed doing the Hamlet project where we had to write a play because I got to do it with two close friends and it was a blast. We were able to combine something that we were familiar with and loved, Gossip Girl, and something new that we were learning, Hamlet. Having that chance to do something like that made us excited about working on the project and we were willingly to put in as much work on it as possible.
Another project that I thought was neat was the ancestry project, I learned new things about my family’s history that I had never known. My grandfather died when I was about one so he is not always talked about and he was the one that had the most interesting history in my family. I was able to learn about the story of him coming over to America from Scotland with his parents when he was four and went back and forth because his mother, my nana, did not like it here initially.
I also enjoyed our last two projects that we did this semester, I learned a lot from both projects and I believe they will help me in my college career. The research paper taught me how to set up a paper like that and a smart way to organize it all. The charts that went along with it also helped the process because I had all of my quotes and support in one easy to access place. I really enjoyed this class and was able to learn new things that will help me for the rest of my school career and life.
